Henrik Nedergaard Thomsen has special experience in advising state authorities and insurance companies on insurance, tort and compensation.
Henrik has focused on the defence of liabilities, be it public authorities' liability to pay damages, insurance coverage (including loss of profit, P&I), subrogation, advisors’ professional liability (including E&O, D&O), product liability, personal injury and pension law, public insurance schemes, good business practice and the regulation on lawyers, health officials and real estate agents, as well as planning and implementing of insurance programmes nationally and internationally. Consumer law, patents and trademarks are also topics on his desk.
Henrik holds positions on trust including an appointment by the Counsil of the Danish Bar and Law Society as an external examiner in connection with the mandatory bar exam, a member of the board of FEF, the Association for Tort and Insurance Law, and a member of the Association of Danish Law Firms’ committee for tort and insurance law.
