We assist private companies and public authorities with competition law matters.

Competition law

We assist private companies and public authorities with competition law matters. The matters are often quite complex and involve the interaction of the competition rules with other public regulation, for example in connection with calls for tenders, drafting contracts/agreements, privatisation and litigation.

We also advise on the state aid rules laid down in the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) and the Danish Competition Act. Our advice is often provided in close collaboration with the other specialists in the relevant areas of the law, for example the areas of tenders and contracts.

Examples of our work areas:

  • Merger control

  • Cases involving damages

  • Dominant undertakings

  • Cartel investigations

What we do

Our work includes a number of different competition law issues, particularly:

  • Advice on the Danish Competition Act, the European competition rules and the case law of the European courts

  • Litigation before the Danish Competition Appeals Tribunal, litigation before the Danish courts and the courts in Luxembourg

  • Advice in connection with calls for tenders and privatisation of public undertakings
